Lightning's biggest win in three months

Lightning enjoyed their biggest win since December when they outplayed Slough Jets in a 6-1 victory at the Hangar on Saturday.
Co-incidentally the six goal victory just before Christmas was also against Jets at a time when they had seen several player departures. This time their line-up was more settled, although they were missing top import, Mindy Kieras.

Nick Poole rang the changes with Lightning's lines with some unfamiliar combinations.
After a 0-0 first period Lightning tore into the hosts after the break - shrugging aside an early penalty call on Ross Green for interference to score through Leigh Jamieson after 23mins 28secs -assisted  by Janne Jokila and Jordan Cownie.
Blaz Emersic and Tom Carlon had a hand when Ross Bowers got Lightning's second goal on 25mins 59secs.
Less than three minutes later it was 3-0 with Carlon finishing off from Emersic and Ben Russell.
Jets could make nothing of penalties on Lukas Zatopek for hooking and Carlon for slashing.
Green and Andrius Kaminskas then clashed with each sin binned for roughing before Jokila added a fourth goal for the visitors 1mins 4secs from the second break.
Jets finally got on the score sheet after 45mins 45secs when former Milton Keynes player Jamie Line set up Daniel Rose to finally beat goalie Jordan Hedley.
but it was back to business for Lightning less than a minute later with Green assisting Cownie to score on 46mins 38secs.
Kaminskas was involved again - this time with Michael Farn - with both penalised for roughing and cross checking before Farn was the provider for Bowers to score his second of the game on 55mins 7secs.
Not content with his earlier misdemeanours Kaminskas then did battle with Grant McPherson a few seconds later - both receiving four minutes for roughing. rang the changes with Lightning's lines with some unfamiliar combinations.
